Never Done with SEO

James Walters - Friday, March 04, 2016

"Talent hits a target no one else can hit. Genius hits a target no one else can see."

Think of a Website like a finely tuned race car. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the fuel you put into its tank. Now you can take this race car to the Daytona 500. But instead of using high octane racing fuel, you decide to run regular gas in it. The race starts, and your car manages its way around the track. If your SEO company is not keeping up, your competition will pass you by so fast you’ll have to look down to make sure you haven't stopped.  On going SEO is crucial for your website's existence. If you do not implement a comprehensive SEO plan, your website might as well be a painting, hanging in some obscure mausoleum. Over looking the vast landscape of the once beautiful and functioning websites. If you are not making SEO changes continuously to your website, your already behind the eight-ball.

I can hear the natives are getting restless. So let's look at the numbers. In 1982, a guy by the name of R. Buckminster Fuller created the "Knowledge Doubling Curve." He notice before the 1900's knowledge doubles every century. By the end of World War two, it was doubling every 25 years. According to IBM, with the build out of the Semantic Web "internet of things" knowledge will double every 11 hours.

                                                                          Wait what?

Let me put it this way. In the next 50 years, 95% of everything we known since the beginning of time, we'll have learned in those 50 years.

The SEMANTIC WEB (internet of things) has changed things forever, and for the better. But how has the job of an SEO company changed as a result? Knowledge Graph, Social Signals, Schema Mark-up, Structured Data, Local & Hyperlocal Search, Micro-data tags, citations, link building, Wikidata and voice search optimization, to name a few.

Molly Youngblood Geiger, CEO of Design Right 4 U, and Google+ extraordinaire, shares a great SEO Check list. “How does Google view your website for Search Engine Optimization?"
